Welcome visitors from another site! I hope you landed here purposefully and enjoy what's inside. I'll keep updating this page as often as possible in hopes that some of your designs show up here as part of my portfolio. I will also be posting personal projects here that I enjoy working on and to keep myself busy. Here is a little background on myself: Ever since I was a child (I still am in many ways) I enjoyed drawing and creating. At first I thought these interests would be nice as an architect. Turns out, most of that stuff is boring, so I got into comic books. I was fortunate enough to get into comics just as the second Golden Age had arrived with great artists like Jim Lee, Todd McFarlane, Marc Silverstri and Rob Liefeld. These guys taught me a lot about drawing and how to make things look cool even if you can't draw very well. By a happy coencident druing my senior year in high school, a college representative came in from a design school in Arizona named Al Collins Graphic Design School (now called Collins College). I graduated with my AA in Visual Communication in 1998 and found out that I needed more school. Also, by a happy coencident, I met some basketball players from Yavapai College in Prescott, AZ and landed myself a scholarship playing basketball while getting more of that education I needed. I transfered to Youngstown State University in 2000 where I began a journey toward my Bachalor in Fine Arts. After a not-so-happy coencidence, I had to transfer to Colorado State University-Pueblo in 2002 where I finally finished my BA in Art. All of that education did some good as I quickly began to do some design work locally in Colorado. Unfortunately, times got tough and I had to move into less creative occupations to pay the bills. I moved to Las Vegas in 2008 and I have been slowly working my way back into design. Presently I am taking bids for design work and hope to keep myself busy doing what I enjoy. If you have any creative needs, drop me a line at jeffball610@yahoo.com. Thanks for visiting.
